Asia had many contributions that we still use today. One example is the astrolabe. People in Ancient Africa used the Astrolabe to help sailors find their location at sea. It also helps them predict their location. Today, some people use astrolabes as features inside of watches. Another is that Muslims correctly described the sun's eclipses and proved that the moon affects ocean tides. A third example is that Muslim astronomers studied the skies, and those studies helped them create mathematical models of the universe. A final example is that Muslim astronomers gave many stars names that are still used today. Some stars are Algol, Heka, Izar, and Kokab.
